Yacht Registration
Pleasure yachts of less than 150 tons are eligible for registration in Gibraltar and, once approved, will be allowed to fly the Red Ensign. British nationals, overseas citizens or registered companies may apply for the registration.
The procedure for registration will entail :
- Securing name approval
- Production of an original Buildersī Certificate (for new vessels)
- An original and notarised Bill of Sale signed by the vendor
- A recognised Tonnage Measurement Survey and
- Completion of the appropriate forms.
